SingStar(tm) Contest at Big Texas Dancehall and Saloon

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, LOCAL AND MUNICIPAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. WHO MAY PARTICIPATE. Subject to the additional restrictions below, the contest is open to legal residents of the State of Texas who are 21 years of age or older at the time of entry, are legal U.S. residents, and who possess valid government-issued photo identification. Employees of KKBQ(FM) ("KKBQ" or "Sponsor"), Cox Radio, Inc., Big Texas Dancehall and Saloon, Sony BMG and each of their respective parent, subsidiary, or affiliated companies, and advertising and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of, and any persons domiciled with, any such employees, are not eligible to enter or to win. The term "immediate family members" includes spouses, parents, grandparents, siblings, children, and grandchildren. Limit one (1) winner per household. For purposes of this Contest, a "household" includes all persons who are domiciled with an entrant, regardless of familial relation.

2. HOW TO BECOME A CONTESTANT. Patrons will have four chances to qualify: Wednesday, October 8, 2008, Wednesday, October 15, 2008, Wednesday, October 22, 2008, and Wednesday, October 29, 2008 from 10:00pm-12:00 midnight each night at Big Texas North, 19959 Holzwarth Spring, TX 77388 and Big Texas South, 803 E Nasa Road 1 Webster, TX 77598. Patrons that enter the SingStar(tm) contest must choose the most difficult level in order to compete and will have six (6) previously decided songs to choose from: "Good Time" by Alan Jackson, "Online" by Brad Paisley, "Redneck Woman" by Gretchen Wilson, "Come on Over" by Jessica Simpson, "Red High Heels" by Kellie Pickler, and "Big Star" by Kenny Chesney. Contestants' performance will be solely judged by the SingStar(tm) machine. Two (2) contestants with the highest score will be chosen each of the four (4) nights from each of the two locations, Big Texas North and Big Texas South, totaling 16 finalists. No duplicate finalists will be allowed.

3. HOW TO BECOME THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER. Each of the 16 finalists must be present by 9:45p.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 from 10pm-12 midnight at Big Texas North 19959 Holzwarth Spring, TX 77388. The grand prize winner will be determined by the SingStar(tm) machine at approximately 12:00a.m. Grand prize winner must be present to win. Results of the SingStar(tm) machine are final.

4. PRIZES AND ODDS. One grand prize package will be given away at approximately 12:15 a.m. on Wednesday November 5, 2008. Package includes: one (1) Sony Bravia LCD Flat Panel 40" Television, a PlayStation(r)3 system with a copy of SingStar(tm), and a PlayStation(r)2 system with a copy of SingStar(tm) Country. Approximate retail value: $2,540.00. A maximum of one (1) grand prize will be awarded. In the event of a tie, the contestants who have the highest tied score will be placed in a random drawing to be conducted by KKBQ-FM. The results of the random drawing are final. Grand prize winner must accept delivery of prize from sponsor, or as otherwise instructed by sponsor. Grand prize winner must be present to win. All other costs related to prize delivery and acceptance are the responsibility of winner including but not limited to taxes, title, insurance, license, and registration fees. All properly claimed prizes will be awarded. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash redemption or prize substitution allowed, except at sponsor's sole discretion or as provided herein. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prize becomes unavailable. Grand prize winner will be required to complete and return a W-9 form (if prize value exceeds $600.00), affidavit of eligibility, and liability/publicity release, and present a valid driver's license and social security card before prize will be awarded. Winners of prizes greater than $600.00 will be issued a 1099 form reflecting the value of the prize(s) and are responsible for paying all income taxes on prize(s). Failure to collect or properly claim any prize in accordance with these rules will result in forfeiture of the prize. If forfeited for any reason, contestant will not receive any other prize substitution or compensation.

5. ADDITIONAL RULES & RESTRICTIONS: By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the station managers, which shall be final in all matters relating to this promotion. If winner is found in violation of these rules he/she may be required to forfeit his/her prize. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for the sponsor and its agencies to use winner's name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade worldwide without limitation or further compensation, unless prohibited by law. By accepting prizes, winners agree to hold sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, the promotion administrator and each of their respective directors, officers, employees and assigns harmless from and against any and all claims, damages and liability of any kind arising from or in connection with the acceptance, possession or use/misuse of any prize, or participation in the promotion or in any prize-related activities, and assume all liability therefore. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prizes.

6. PRIZE CLAIM AND ACCEPTANCE PROCEDURES. Sponsor will notify winner at Big Texas North after the grand prize winner is determined. After the winner is notified, the winner must claim their prize by personally visiting the KKBQ business office at 1990 Post Oak Blvd, Suite 2300, Houston, Texas upon notification that their prize is available to be claimed, and in no event later than thirty (30) days after the Winner's initial announcement (office visits must be between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM (C.S.T.) weekdays). To claim prize, each Cash Prize Winner must present a valid government-issued photo identification and Social Security Card. Prizes are nonassignable and nontransferable. No substitutions allowed by winners. Prizes and individual components of prize packages are subject to availability and Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. Winners are solely responsible for reporting and payment of any taxes on prizes. Winners will be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility, and a liability and publicity release (except where prohibited by law) which must be returned within ten (10) days of date of personal delivery or date of postmark. Failure to sign and return the affidavit or release within ten (10) days, or to comply with any term or condition of these Official Rules, may result in a winner's disqualification, the forfeiture of his or her interest in the prize, and the award of the prize to a substitute winner.

7. RESERVATION OF RIGHTS. Except where prohibited, participation in the Contest constitutes each entrant's consent to the use of his or her name, biographical information, voice and/or likeness in any media, including without limitation the Internet, for any commercial or promotional purpose, without limitation or further compensation. Any telephone calls placed to the KKBQ Contest line may be recorded for use on-air at any time. Prizes not won and claimed by eligible winners in accordance with these Official Rules will not be awarded and will remain the property of Sponsor. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor and the Contest administrators and judges. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify persons found tampering with or otherwise abusing any aspect of this Contest as solely determined by Sponsor. In the event the Contest is compromised by tampering or other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness or proper operation of the Contest, Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the Contest.

8. DISCLAIMERS. By entering, participants acknowledge and agree that Sponsor Cox Radio, Inc., Big Texas, Sony BMG, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, employees and agents (collectively, the "Contest Entities") will not be liable for losses or injuries of any kind resulting from acceptance/possession/use and/or misuse of prize(s), travel to and from any prize-related activity, participation in the Contest, printing, mailing or distribution errors, or any malfunctions of the telephone network, computer Internet system, computer equipment, software, or any combination thereof, or for any entries that are not in compliance with these Official Rules.

9. CONSTRUCTION. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any such provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable, these rules shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or unenforceable provision was not contained therein.

10. SPONSOR. The SingStar(tm) contest at Big Texas is sponsored by KKBQ(FM), Big Texas, and Sony BMG. The decisions of Sponsor and the Contest administrators regarding the selection of winners, the interpretation of these Official Rules and all other aspects of the Contest shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor will not be responsible for typographical, printing or other inadvertent errors in these Official Rules or in other materials relating to the Contest.
