Dear Lia-- my name is rachel and im 17 years old from kingwood texas...i couldnt figure out how to send this to you but i really would like to share some things about my uncle with you. Well first of all he was there when i was born, then we lived together till i was around 6 or 7 then my mom and i moved out and Julian (my uncle) started well getting into some trouble. we moved to texas about 7 years ago and he flew out here and decided her wanted to go back into the army not only to help others because thats what he loves but to help himself. He was accepted and a few monthes later he was stationed in Alaska until further notice. a few months later we got a call that said Julian would b deployed to Iraq within the next month. i was definatly scared and i dont know flustered but he went and did an amazing job. he got honored for his work he came back "home" to texas just a few monthes ago and then go sent back to Alaska where he will be based there for another year, and possibly deployed again. i just want you to play hurry home by Jason Caroll oh and i love him so so so so much and misss him like i dont even know!!! please lia!!!! thanks

I started to take C&W dance lessions. 3 months ago I met this woman in my class but was a little to shy to talk to her. I would go the the mens room 19 times just to walk past her. I called and talked to you the other night about my momma, Lia you are awesome! My mom goes through so much to try and keep our family together after we have lost our grandparents these last two years,(her mom, my grandma 1/21/08, and her dad my grandpa 2/12/09) She struggles keeping us together but she says its her job! Lia, I have so much respect for your radio program and for you as a host. You always put your heart out there and always give God the glory! I am hoping that I can tell you about a terrible "activity" which is affecting many of our young people today! It is called the "Choking Game", "Pass Out Game", "Fainting Game" and called many other names. It is an activity that kills! It kills brain cells and if played alone, it most often kills the one "playing". On 12/27/08, we lost our bright, beautiful, 17 y.o. daughter, Jennifer, to this "game". She was NOT a risk-taker and we feel dhr esd likely doing it as a result of peer pressure. It is now my mission to educate others. We are going to schools to educate students, parents and educators. We are working with clergy, youth groups, service organizations, etc. This is our way of taking Jenny with us into the future. Just wanted you to know good things come out of Kentucky. I have always been a fan of country, I was born in a little town in Tennessee, moved to Kentucky when I was in the 3rd grade, then to Texas when I was in 10th grade. Joined the Navy when I graduated and left to see the world, but became a Nuclear Missle Tech on a submarine and didn't see much being underwater all the time. I know you support our men and women in the military and so do I. They are the true heroes in this world because they go were they are told and do it without question and so people in the states don't have to worry about waking up to bombings and such.
