Where were you born? I'm a native Houstonian, a proud UH grad (Go Coogs!) and know every nook and cranny of this city. I loves it and can't imagine living anywhere else.

What are your favorite things about Houston? Other than the summer heat and Rodeo/Texans traffic to Reliant, I love everything here. There's always something going on, there's so many variety of places to eat, the best doctors in the world are here at the Tx Med. Center, and we have the best sports teams too!

What do you like best about being an on-air personality? As a kid I remember listening to the radio and felt like a friend was letting me know when my favorite artist was gonna be on tv, or when they were gonna be performing in town. There was no internet when I was young, so getting info like that and passing it on meant a lot to me. And it still does. The "connection" with the listener is what I like best. Plus, I love country music and my co-workers are fantastic.

How long have you worked in radio? Goin' on 5 years...if I've done my math correctly. How long at The New 93Q? Same answer.

Why did you decide to get into radio? I dunno exactly when, all I know is I was always that friend people called up to ask, "Hey, who sings that song?" and I always had the answers. Thanks Rock n' Roll Jeopardy! I just love music and talking a lot. Combine those two and - poof! Here I am.

How did you get into radio? Through an internship, and that wasn't easy. It took so many calls to actually get someone to look at my application. Perseverance pays off!

Where have you worked in radio? Only here at The New 93Q! I'm the one with the shortest radio resume here.

Who are your favorite performers or bands? Keith Urban is the best country performer and musician I've ever seen. I'm blown away at his concerts, which run about 3 hours and you can feel Keith pouring his blood sweat and tears into every song. Love him. Also, Taylor Swift. She may sing about a different heartbreak on every song, but who doesn't? Merle Haggard, Ronnie Milsap, Eddie Rabbit, Jucie Newton, and CONWAY TWITTY. Conway is the man. Brooks n' Dunn, George Strait - duh - and Shania Twain. p.s. Rolling Stones are the best overall, and Paul is THE most talented Beatle.

What do you watch on TV? LOST, America's Next Top Model, Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill (I swear there's a tween inside me) Castle, Cash Cab, Around the Horn, PTI, The Amazing Race (one day I will be on it), Ugly Betty, AC360, BBC Masterpiece Theatre...I watch everything really. Even the Antiques Roadshow. Heck, I'll even watch the Home Shopping Network if I need to buy something I don't need!

What are your hobbies? Going to concerts, jogging, trying to complete a Chronicle crossword puzzle, catching up with my friends, borrowing Ace and taking him for a walk, sudoku, going to an Astros/Rockets/Texans/Cougars game, gardening, organizing anything that needs to be organized, and bedazzling things!
