No failing grades in Texas
The statement made on the air this morning regarding no more failing grades in Texas was incorrect. The issue is that schools could no longer have a minimum grade of 50. It was changed to give the student whatever grade they had earned even if it was a "0". This was challenged by several school districts. Katy being one of them. Katy made the decision to give the students the option to retake the test until they made a passing grade. There was never a rule that a student could not be given a failing grade.

About the age thing...Age is a state of mind. Growing old is mandatory,growing up is optional! I am almost 60 and my state of mind is stuck at about 27!

My daughter has cancer, she is 15 She was hospitalized for nine months. Thanks for your support. She going to make it. She has 2.5 years to go on treatments.
